PGG06: One sweet day
Thanks to a good friend, I was finally able to visit Ilog Maria Honeybee Farm in Cavite.
I've always been curious about their products after reading about the farm in blogs. I've thought about ordering online, but in the end, I was too lazy to follow through (surprise surprise).
The wind was surprisingly cool in the farm last Saturday morning. The sun was out and shining vividly. It was warm in the car, so it was a pleasant treat to step out into a blanket of fresh air. The store was simple, and enjoyed a steady stream of patrons while we were there. I bought Fresh Frozen Royal Jelly for my mom, and Honey Cider Vinegar for myself, among others. Champ and I shared a bottle of Bee Pollen. Fortunately, Virgin Honey was available, so I had to buy a bottle as well. The procrastinator in me has yet to try out the aforementioned products though. :D
Fun fact: Honey has a very long shelf life. It can be preserved for decades, even centuries!
