Hello,
I see you have stumbled upon my not new but totally improved livejournal page.
Well done.
For years, I've used this for occasionally spilling my emotions and what not...then I would say "Hey, let's start over! I'll write in it often, and comment on other people's journals, and it'll be sick!" ... so I would write one of these kind of entries, and completely forgetting about it for a few months. I know, I am ashamed as well, my friends. O:
But this time, It'll have a much more specific purpose, a:
Folk & Art Portfolio!
...ideas and segments from my Folklore classes, photos and/or videos, photography: possibly featuring created sets!, and misc.
But first off, let me introduce myself.
(I've done this before too, many times, talking about who I WANTED to be. This is who I AM, right now :)
- My name is Brittany, but I am also known as Britbop, Britters, Brippity Boppity and Bertnahh.
- I was born on the first day of Pisces, on February 19th, 1991.
- I grew up in a little town called St. Joseph's Cove in the Coast of Bays area of Newfoundland. (I swear, 30 houses, it's so small..)
- I currently live in my lovely province's capital, St. John's. It's a life-style change, and the drivers are horrible. Attitudes! Holy!
- I am going to Memorial University, doing a Bachelor of Arts: Major in Folklore, Minor in Music and Culture. :)
- My top...sayy..5 general interests/hobbies are Music, Movies, Photography, Mary Jane and Exploring (I know, childish.)
- My current 2 favorite instruments to play are my ukulele, a birthday gift from my lovely, Kody <3 and the keyboard. (newkeyboardforXMAS!)
- Lastly, I'm the type of girl who zones out to her ipod and forgets her bus stop and who pokes you in the butt while making out. !!
In closing, this was the VERY first picture that I took that began my interest in the arts. I started thinking of angles, colour, lighting and focal points!!!!
I know it's far from a "good picture", but it reminds me of Ron's flying car in Harry Potter, so therefore, I love it. :)
