R.I.P. Aunt Janie ♥
My aunt Janie lost her battle with cancer Thursday, September 19, 2009 at 5:13pm. Her closest loved ones were there by her side, including myself. She was an extremely strong and courageous good woman. She put others first and her own desires last. She took care of her husband during his battle with cancer, and she took care of my grandmother as she aged.
She was a survivor of breast cancer until it returned to her bones after going into remission for 12 years. This disease eventually ravaged her brain, her vision, her hearing, and her organs. She never gave up and fought it till the VERY end. She always had hope, and she always kept her faith.
I hold my aunt with the highest respects, and hope to have nearly as much strength and courage as she had.
