Writer's Block: Do-over!
Well lets see. If I were born to different parents, I wouldn't have been born. Why? because no other female could have my mother's egg and no other male my father's seed. I wouldn't exist, so no, I'd keep my parents to have life.
I wouldn't want to do it over again either. I would appreciate it, if my mom, somehow, had monetary security so there would be no worries about paying for her children's education (among other things).
If I had a "Do Over Card" would I use it, whether it was for one event or my entire life? Again no, I wouldn't, nor would I give it to a friend. People have to deal with the decisions they've made, regardless if they were good or bad. If it were to be taken away, where is the lesson learned, the moral of the story? They'd probably choose to do whatever it is they wanted to erase, because they didn't learn from that decision.
And really, if you know that something will turn out badly, why would you still pursue that course? Please common sense people.
