ugh so many favorites in this one:

"Brittany needed someone to protect her, to explain to her, to shield her from things that were too much for her simple mind to bear, and Santana… well, Brittany had thought Santana had needed someone who would show her love and always support her, but now she wasn't so sure." Totally a great way to explain them.

and i loved that santana stormed in all angry. and the last line was just perfect. i loved this a lot :)

Yes. I loved this.

Like aerisstrife said, I got a Dana/Mr. Piddles vibe, but that's fine since I love Dana and Britany and their respective pets.
