Big or little
Big dogs or little dogs, which do you prefer? I have always been a big dog girl. I had a friend who had a big golden retriever named Wendy, she would pull us around the block on our roller skates. i might have been 9 at the time, and she was the gentlest and most loyal of friends. My suggestion is not to pick a dog based on it's size but to bring
your dogs to visit and pick one based on temperment. Whether it's
a purebred or a mutt doesn't matter.
FWIW, a Welsh Springer Spaniel is going to get along with dogs
of any size, shape and temperment. They're rough enough for the
most energetic of children and cuddly enough for the down days.
You don't have to get an expensive puppy either but an older pup
from a breeder who has too many or a rescue.
