fun fun
Another fun weekend, another chance for me to dance. I don't know what my deal is, I never seem to have fun at parties anymore unless I can dance to good music. I'm so sick of those house parties where you walk in and its wall to wall people who just stare at you as they clutch their Keystone Light and look bored. The parties I've been going to lately have been different. It's the radio station crowd, so the music is excellent and there's usually a dance room. And the boys actually dance. Not just freak dancing, but real, groovy dancing. All the mod, indie boys. Haha. Every boy at the parties looked like a member of the Strokes or Ryan Adams. I saw like five Albert Hammond Juniors. It was great.
I'm going back to Omaha in two weeks for the Desaparecidos concert on March 2nd. I'm so excited, cos the CD gets better and better each time I listen to it. The only disappointing thing is that none of the other bands will be there like last time. The Faint is in the UK, The Good Life is touring the country with Azure Ray, Joe moved to Lincoln (maybe he'll come back, though). Hey, as long as Conor and Denver are there, I'll be happy;) Heh. I updated the domain (http://www.psycho-jello.com) with a new layout all about the Omaha scene and how trendy it's getting and the press it's been getting. Go check it out.
