Hi ya!!!
**waves** Hi ya! I just joined this community a little while ago. I live in the US (metro NY area) and am a avid britcom and british mystery fan. Can't get enough of them-literally! :) Some of my favorites are Keeping Up Appearances, Barbara, Black Addar, Fawlty Towers, Vicar of Dibley, French & Saunders, My Hero, Father Ted, Waiting for God, One Foot in the Grave, Red Dwarf, Last of the Summer Wine, and OF COURSE Monty Python :) for the comedies. I'm also in another LJ community for just British comedies. And for the mysteries, I like Rosemary & Thyme, Midsommer Murders, Inspector Morse, Inspector Lyndley, Kauvanagh Q.C., and of course anything else BBC or PBS. :) I have 2 dictionaries of British Slang to American Slang, but of course I still have questions...LOL. I love learning about the British culture and can't wait to one day be able to visit! Anyway, that's about it for now...the PBS Britcom line-up is almost on and I don't want to miss it!
