Hey everyone long time no post for me..
Anyways umm a friend of mine just got back from England. She said it was amazing and they visited an island...dagum i cant remember the name. But it has a castle on the island and sometimes during high tides its an island...and during low tides its not..beacuse of the water level. Yes well ...after that
she talked about the fast food joints where she went. she said that they had imported..KFC ( kentucky fried chicken...lol), mcdonalds (also known as the don,,or mcidees in american), and burger king(ew) from America. She also said that yall have a Little Chef...never heard or seen of one around here. i dont expect yall have as many fast food joints as we do. we are of course generalized as "The Fattest Nation.." and most of us need to get somewhere fast..so we get fast food. How often do you actually eat at fast food restaraunts? Is it a big time crunch deal with your country too? Pretty weird question..but whatever.
Our social studies teacher said that student in Europe ( some..or maybe alot of them are) taught that there are only 5 continents instead of 7. I've always been taught that there's 7. Whos wrong in this situation? maybe we're both right.
Oh yes one last thing. Maybe this is a generalization but I've heard that in the UK there is a kind of rivalry between the South and the North. Like the Northerners think that the Southerners are snooty and posh because most of them are wealthy. (AGAIN..this is a generalization...i dont know EVERYONE in the entire county..so im generalizing). That is the exact OPPPOSITE in the case of the U.S. The South doesnt really like the North beacuse we all think that they are going to act snooty towrds us. Of course..we are generalized as being people who wear overalls....straw hats..and boots...but we dont. Is this true about the rivalry between the north and south in the UK?
