Temporary move to US possible?
Hello! I am a US citizen resident in the UK, and my husband is a UK citizen. We married in September 2010 and intend to live in the UK permanently - I will be eligible for ILR in 2012 and UK citizenship in 2013.
There is a medium-term possibility (as in, after I get citizenship but within about 10 years) I could transfer to the US branch of my company in NYC for a year or two.
Could my husband get a visa to live and work in the US for a year or two?
The US foreign spouse-type visa I skimmed briefly seemed to be long term, and require that the spouse be staying "for the forseeable future". We don't intend to the US permanently, just for a few years*, and then move back to the UK.
