Making friends in the UK and Drugstore.com
I've been studying a foreign language with someone I met through gumtree a few weeks ago. She's been in the UK longer than I have, but asked me this today: How do you make friends in UK (specifically England)?
After an initial two very tough years here, I've gotten used to life here (and I'm a lot more positive), but I can honestly say I don't have many friends. This doesn't bother me, I typically like being alone. But for her sake, what can I say?
Edited to add: She lives in Tamworth. I know it would be a lot easier for her if she lived in London. :/
And just some extra info (the shopping tag!):
1. Drugstore.com now ships internationally (they probably have for ages, years, and decades)
2. Amazon.co.uk has a lot of international food now which is being shipped through various companies. This means you can aquire and use nectar points to get goodies. They have maize!
