Service Assistance dogs US > UK

Does anyone happen to know what the travel requirements are for service assistance dogs visiting the UK? I know that if you're moving the dog has to be quarantined, but I only visit for a couple of weeks at a time and my dog cannot be separated from me.

For that matter, what kinds of service assistance dogs are recognised in the UK? I'm not physically disabled, the dog is a seizure alert/response dog so other than the vest he's not visible as an service assistance dog. Basically he's trained to alert me before I have a seizure so I can get to a safe place and then he makes sure I don't hurt myself while I'm flailing around. He also picks stuff up, but that's just an added bonus.

I know that in the US my dog is absolutely required to be allowed access to everywhere other than a private club that I'm not a member of. This includes domestic flights where he's allowed to sit at my feet for no extra charge. Is it the same in the UK or will I have trouble taking my dog on buses, into restaurants, etc.?

us vs. uk, moving pets, flights, accessibility
