I've been trying to find a nice pair of khaki pants in the UK, but can't seem to find anywhere that sells them. They must exist somewhere over here, anyone know where?

Have you been searching with 'pants' or trousers, because you won't get very far with the first unless you want Khaki underwear.

Some here and Dorothy Perkins has a few: here, and here.

They also have some for tall, petite and maternity.

Dorothy Perkins general shop - they have shops in most towns, and deliver too. Good luck!

Edit: Just realised you put nice pair, and these are all very casual. Hm, that will be more difficult.

You could also try Tesco or Asda - they both have a pretty good clothing range. Debenhams also have quite a few 'smarter' sections within (although can be quite expensive).

H&M have some trousers as above. I clicked on dressing room then trousers and saw a few similar.

I never even thought of Dorothy Perkins. There is one in the city, but I never go into the shopping centre where it's located... I think I may have to pop down today. :)

I bought a pair very similar to the bottom ones at Primark last year around this time as part of a suit. It is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time though I haven't quite figured out the colour and fashion seasons in the UK.

By price range I usually hit: Primark, BHS, H&M, Marks and Spenser, Dorothy Perkins, ASOS.

M&S was my first thought - I've bought similar-ish men's beige trousers and chinos from there before.

A quick browse through their online store doesn't show up anything quite the same as the original poster's suggestions, but you can get things like Classic Collection Herringbone Straight Leg Trousers which aren't a million miles away.

Are Land's End still going in the UK?

Yes! The shipping takes a while though. Which is OK.

Those look like light beige rather than khaki (khaki being that dark brownish-green colour army uniforms are).
Until summer collections come in (any time now), pale colours like those are hard to find. Those lower ones scream "middle-aged American" to me!

'Americans' call a wide assortment of fashionable 'beige' trousers "khakis". Men and women. US brand 'Dockers' is a strong supporter of this trend.

I think that's a common misapprehension in the UK. 'Khaki' means 'dust-coloured' (same route as 'cack' I think!) and refers to the colour of desert uniform but somehow has got confused with the more 'normal' army green in a lot of people's minds. Anyway Land's End calls their beige trousers 'khaki'.
