Taxes

Hey, so I've been jobhunting and it recently occurred to me that I'm still going to need to file taxes in the U.S. (I live in the UK, am a US citizen). Assuming I ever get a job, does anyone know of any good guides to filing taxes abroad, what if any information I need to give to an employer about this, etc.? I've never actually filed my own taxes before (because I either didn't earn enough or paid my lawyer mom do it for me), so I really have very little idea of what I'll need in order to get them filed correctly.
