US passport expiry
I seem to remember, and I can't remember where exactly, but something about American passports needing more than 6 months left on their expiry date to be able to travel on them? Is this correct, and does it still require this for passports being used to travel back into the US?
My husbands US passport expires in July. We had expected to be moving back to the US around September/October, and would be getting his passport renewed in the next few months, but circumstances have changed and it's possible (my immigration process depending) that we will be heading back to the US March/April instead, which doesn't leave much time especially as we'll need his passport for my immigration stuff.
Will it be a problem just for entering the US?
