Atlanta was out in force despite riot squadders, tornadoes and rain. Huzzah!
This was a triumph. I'm making a note here, HUGE SUCCESS.
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.
My small group of 'tards and I brought cake, paper and markers, Anonyferret, and a lot of righteous pissed-off-ness.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/23669317@N04/ We arrived right after the two Megaphone Anons were arrested and I was told that they were not being disruptive, nor were they warned prior to being arrested that their legal right to protest would get them arrested. No Miranda Rights were read.
Innocent bystanders in vehicles were chased down by cops on cycles for honking, slowing down to grab fliers, or generally appearing positively inclined towards Anon (or so it seems). It later occurred to one Anon that it could go two ways, depending on the citizen cited: they will feel more inclined to feel solidarity with Anon because they, too, were unfairly harassed, OR they will blame Anon in some way for "making them honk" and "getting them in trouble" merely because Anon was there. I'm hoping the former occurs, obviously.
I'm particularly annoyed by this because of many of the reasons outline by other protesters (Anons were told we could protest, Anons were told we needed no permits, Anons were not warned before being arrested, etc.)
There was cake (delicious and moist), a boombox or three (speaking of, someone stuck a CD that does not belong to me in one of my Anon CD cases...I apologize to the Anon who inadvertently donated a protest CD to me. Should have thought to check the CD cases!), soda and water (on ice) and a squillion or so Anons and crew.
I will try to upload some of the MP3s to a download spot to make up for the boomboxen that had to be played at "1 or 2" rather than "11." I suppose everyone was subliminally Rick Rolled and Bel Aired.
After the megaphone Anons were nicked, the Atl-anons were understandably leery to play the boomboxes loud enough to be heard across the street, chant too loudly, and so on. We were effectively squelched from VOICING protest.
Once we made it clear we were being cooperative and not likely to give the cops more reason to fuck with us for noise, they started in on the face masks. The police also tried to cull a leader or two from the herd, but, of course, Anon has no leaders. Finally one brave soul ventured across the road as "spokesanon." We already knew not to wear the Guy Fawkes gear, though some of us brought masks and held them (in our hands) over our faces or wore them on the backs of our heads. The cops informed us that we could wear sunglasses OR dustmasks, but not both, because wearing both were "too concealing." Well, duh, Barbie. Meanwhile, Co$ folks were, of course, going to be permitted to film and photo Anon at their leisure. So we were prevented from protesting VISUALLY in the manner of our choosing as well.
FWIW, I kept my shades, dust mask and wig ON, but I did tend to lurk behind the front liners during most of the protest. I figured the fuzz could tell me directly to un-mask, at which point I would do so. Until then, safety first.
I was pleased to meet all 200 or so David Davidsons at the protest. David Davidson had excellent protest signs and tasty birthday cake. David Davidson brought soda and tunes. David Davidson also brought several Xenus, party hats, and Anon "youfoundthecard.com" business cards, and excellent fliers. Thanks, Dave!
Interestingly enough, a couple of Anons and I chose to wait for the bus on Shallowford, and when the cops finally pulled out (at least twelve-fourteen cop cars, some with blue lights flashing, and two HUGE tour-bus-sized riot busses), some of the cops inside them waved "hello" back (we were determinedly friendly to all passing vehicles, and were playing our boombox at a more respectable and audible "5 or 6" at this point) and others absolutely refused to make eye contact at all.

An Anon in Guy Fawkes facepaint. Now that was a clever plan. Well done.
Hey ladies, it's Handsome Anon David Davidson. (Troy McLure voice) You may know him from such shows as "Anonymous Protests the Church of $cientology on February 10th," now showing on YouTube, where he played himself David Davidson for the Atlanta television media.
Some of my pictures:
$cientology is indeed a $cam. Chrisitanity, Judaism, Islam, Taoism, etc. = FREE. Salvation via $cientology? Costs an estimated $360,000 US. And it's all about Xenu and body thetans. LOLWUT?
...and CONVICTED in Canada! I love this guy.
"i think he is a pretty cool guy. eh protests sceintology and doesn't afraid of anything"

Exchange on Bus 103, after the protest (paraphrased):
Anon 1 (Me): So, do we need to start a Paypal fund for the arrested Anons?
Anon 2: Wouldn't be a bad idea. That was totally uncalled for.
Anon 3: So we've had riot police and riot copters in February, then they topped it with riot police, riot copters AND tornadoes in March!
Anon 2: LOL, right. WTF?
Anon 3: How are they going to top that in April?
Anon Couple: The Co$ will wheel out a live volcano.
Anon 4: And throw people into it!
Anon 1: Good luck on finding enough virgins among the throngs of Anon for that. You don't want to piss off the volcano gods with non-virgin sacrifices.
Hilarity and fist bumps ensued. A good time was had by all.
$cilon Plant or Super-shy Assburgers Anon?
We had a silent observer parked with a laptop under a tree. He was unresponsive to most friendly greetings from Anons, though I did manage to exchange a hello and nod. My opinion is that he can sit under a tree and blog all he wants, he wasn't bull-baiting or interfering with the protest, so no skin off my nose. Will be interesting to see if he was just a super-shy Anon or a $cilon plant.
We were not sure what to make of Lurking Tree Dude, frankly. It is a mystery.
Yay for the Fire Department!
Also, a hook and ladder from the closest fire department drove by and hailed us with several enthusiastic honks. If anyone has buddies in the fire department in Atlanta, it wouldn't hurt to invite them to the next protest, preferably wearing their fire department gear. The cops very noticeably did NOT ticket the firefighters honking, just hapless civilians.
Thanks, firefighting guys and gals for the much appreciated show of solidarity!
P.S. AnonyFerret thanks Anonymous for his new nicknames: Epic Ferret Guy, Epic Win Ferret, Long Ferret (Is Long) and Suppressive Ferret / SF.
He also says some of you taste like chicken, and apologizes for being a nippy little wienerschnitzel all day.

NOTE: Incidentally, Wikipedia editors, I do not participate in "prank raids" nor do I hang out at the *chan image boards, nor am I a bored teenaged boy (fapping in mom and dad's basement?), so your description of "who is Anonymous" is incorrect.
I do participate in Human Rights-related protests and other positive social movements (e.g., Food Not Bombs, non-partisan voter registration drives, that sort of thing).
