Bah Humbug
Heading out tomorrow. Too keyed up to get sleep I should be getting if I'm going to be hustling at 6AM. Oh well.
I did try The Maxx and came up empty. It was ravaged. The Mongol hordes had left nothing but polyester tat behind. However, thanks to B&B's advice, did find Tahari green velvet jacket and sky blue velvet jacket at Marshall's. Yay! Got pants and some other jackets and finally used my Express giftcard from two years ago for a shirt and some jewelry. So I already have all my Xmas gifts and anything anyone else gifts me is gravy.
Realized that my fave ex-boyfriend turned 48 Monday. Forty-eight! Damn, he's old. ;)
Got the entire family good gifts, and Mom's still sulking about travelling separately. Tough noogies. Will plan to see them Xmas Eve and Xmas Day and hopefully meet up with friends before leaving Weds or Thurs. Staying Weds and Thurs will require either being able to continue sacking out at kind friends' place until then, or going to pet-friendly accomodations. Still, they are saving me major hassle and expense by allowing me and Mr Woozle to camp out at their place. They aren't even going to be there until Tuesday. Talk about good friends. Well, they know I'm not going to throw a keg party or light the place on fire or anything.
Was going to get a haircut, but the idea of sitting for an hour or two with all I have done this week mentally exhausted me. Still have to run by Whole Foods gourmet grocery on the way out of town. Maybe Jiffy Lube, if my mileage has gone over 3,000 yet (usually takes 5-6 months, Savannah is small and I haven't been commuting backand forth to school all month. May have made up the difference this week with all the damn errands, but probably not. Am all gassed up already. Gifts all packed. Clothes all packed. Just need to throw cosmetics in bag, turn on and off things that need that, get ferret situated (happy not to have to haul huge travel cage, as his accomodations are going to be plentiful at the friends' house. Only quibble will be Wednesday / Thursday nights, if I stay that long. May have to get new travel cage, but as he's actually gotten too big for the one he has, I can justify the expense.
