I must admit that I am shamefully guilty of lurking in this fandom. It's what I do; I feel like I don't really have all that much to contribute, so I lurk. I just had to comment on this fic, however. I've been reading your stories for some time now and you are IMHO one of the most talented writers in the fandom. I've thoroughly enjoyed quite a few of your longer fics, but this one absolutely takes the cake. It packs such a punch.
You've managed to capture the atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic setting incredibly well. Your prose is phenomenal, and there was more than one time a particular sentence or description caught me as striking. Not only was the story just very good, it was also really well-written. It just kept me reading, and I was actually sad to have reached part six! I love how much attention you spent on developing the individual relationships between Dean, Sam & Jess, as well as each of their personalities. They came across as very IC to me.
Also, perhaps less important but still totally worth mentioning - your smut is to die for. *guh*
