This was painful to read, but the end felt really right. Sometimes love is making hard choices. Harsh, creepy and well done!

Thank you! I'm glad it felt right in the end, it was tough for me to write that conclusion when I want a happy ending so much!

GAH. I want to marry your brain. It's impossible to even pick a favorite section. There's just too much awesome in 2600 words. You know how much I love my angst, though. And this is just superb! ♥

My brain will run away with you to Vegas to get married by Elvis. Don't worry, the next day you can claim you were drunk and get it annulled.
MUAH.

Nngh. I can't even.

Yeah, if it has to end in death for them, this is pretty much how I'd like it to go. Gorgeous and painful and full of desperate, achy love.

I HAVE TO GO SOB AND HUG A PUPPY NOW DAMMIT.

I soooooo want a happy ending on the show, though! Willing to play around with this, but I'm a big sap and I want them retiring to Florida with a taxidermied chupacabra on the mantle.
Thank you. :)

This was perfect in every single way. Sam's characterization, the pragmatic but weary tone of it, the SamandDean love, and the tragic but hopeful ending, all of it was perfect.

Lovely to hear your take on it - I like "pragmatic but weary", and I'm glad you saw some hope in the end. Thank you so much!

gah, that was harsh, but so great. Loved it, even if you sort of carved my heart out...
