and again it's taken me 20 years to update! life at school is same old. it's moving right along, 1/3 of the way through semester two. the highlight is that im getting fabulously tan from my repeated trips to the tanning bed. i got totally ripped off last time i went to electric beach so now i'm a proud member of the newport tanning club. i feel so ritzy.
anyways. yea went snowboarding this past weekend. drove up with dad and tyler on thursday night. got to the condo..it was freeezing. no one had stayed in it for a while so it was a lovely 38 degrees inside when we got there. i could see my breath. not cool. i shivered on the couch for a while..then went to bed..after weaseling my way into dad letting me have the master bedroom with a king bed and a bathroom all to myself. it was nice. so yea..boarded at bear mountain on friday and summit on saturday. it was way fun and went very well except i fell on my head..twice. had a horrid headache and my neck hurt like no other, but i kept on goin! sunday i shopped..bought me some new shoes and clothing items then sunday afternoonish, we hit the road. it was a really relaxing weekend, i got a lot of homework done, snowboarded, and bought new pretty things. very successful time i might say.
this week has been full of test studying..got three on friday. oh and yay for the notebook coming out! a bunch of us girlies watched it in my room last night. i was the only one that didnt cry. darn that little black heart of mine. speaking of last night, i had the most retarded moment of my life. i was walking back from new testament class at 9 last night with jes. i'm walking across the grass in front of heath building (for those of you who know...) and i'm just chatting and i walk into a tree branch. it hit me right in the face..but naturally, i have no idea whats happening and i think it's a bird swooping at my face so i pretty much start screaming and hit the floor. when i came to my senses and realize it was just a tree...i pretty much pee my pants laughing and jes hangs her head in shame. some people i didnt know walked by..and one girl goes "sorry..i dont know you, but that was really funny!!" good game joanna.
oo yay for this weekend. jason's birthday is on saturday..yayee. so we're pretty much gonna party til dawn! well, we'll see. then sunday i'll be home..monday is valentines day! yay! love it. oh yes, thankyou to all who contributed to my last entry. i had some good laughs and sentimental moments.
