(no subject)
So yesterday me and the bros hooked up a gig in Gasport. When we first got there we felt so out of place.. It must of been the biggest hick get together I have ever seen. The first song we heard was Sweet Home Alabama.. Give me a break.
Well anyways we got there and stayed away from the people who were at a pavilion and we played volleyball (Justin poor sport) than this little fat kid followed us around. Finally I made every say they saw a $20 bill fly down the hill so he'd go look for it.
So we get up and believe me it was a brilliant setup lasers and lights and shit but we were so nervous but sooner or later I could hear the "You guys ROCK!" and we pretty much let lose after that. Some lady requested Green Day so we played Brain Stew and some guy came up and sang it.
After the show everyone like just about gave us congrats and some lady wants to book us at her 20 year old daughters party so we took the number and shit. It felt really cool. She was like "How much do you charge"
Then we stuck around for the band after us and the dude was pretty much acoustic the whole time but he played Sam Roberts , Pearl Jam, and Alice in Chains..I don't know the guy rocked he may of been in his mid 20s. So we go talk to him after he is done and his one band member some girl who played keyboard and we hang out and out of nowhere he said " Do you guys smoke weed" lol it caught us so off guard..I was like...umm are you a policeman??!?! Ha and since it was daylight and stuff we didn't ...But, he gave us his number and we are prolly gonna go see Sam Roberts at the square and jam and shit.
The last band....Typical Hickish band...But had talent none the less.
So we went to the playground next to the park we played at and we saw these hott chicks and we were trying to figure out ways to talk to them but before we got a plan we got called for an encore.
The encore was horrible but we played really well... So the we bust into Audioslaves "Cochise" and it was too hardcore! WTF Yeah right.. Then I heard someone say "Play some skynrd" and I knew that was the end of the night!
