Buffy Berthiaume superhero origin story!
On this day, twenty one years ago, a magical event happened.
High up in the sky, above all the trees, birds and clouds, a magic portal opened and a huge magnifying lens appeared. Guided by unseen forces, this lens flew over the land until it spied a unicorn. Twisting and focusing slighty, the lens caught the rays of awesome in the air and focused them all over the unicorn, which then tripped and landed on the cutest bunny rabbit that ever exisited. This convergance of cute, awesome and sheer freaking bad ass super goodness suddenly became something new, something different. In much the same way that Captain Planet was formed from the powers of those five kids who had those magic rings and stuff, a new being was made from all the powers of good, cuteness, sweetness, generosity and love, as well as thrifting, fashion sense and pretty much being amazing at everything. This being, this pretty darned amazing girl, was called Buffy.
Growing up, it was easy to see that Buffy was destined for greater things. After rescuing six hundred kittens from a wild panda in africa at the age of 7, she became the youngest person to climb to the top of the Empire State Building unassisted. Continuing to do good works for the community, she began to notice that she was developing newer powers, ones of great power. With the aid of these, she began seeking out injustice and battling evil using the name "The Phantom Dooker", dropping the name shortly after realising that it sounded dumb, then ending her career at 19 when she finally defeated all evil.
Unbeknownst to Buffy, but benownst to me, the events which created her also set in motion a countdown to when her cuteness would eventually encompass the entire Earth. This would make everyone feel much warmer and fuzzier at times, make people say "aaaaaaw!" at baby polar bears and, coincidentally, create a protective barrier from asteroids and fix the hole in the ozone layer. That countdown ended on her twenty first birthday, this day. Right now, Buffy's super-sweetness is making the world a better place, and everyone can sleep safe at night knowing that somewhere, out there, Buffy is around.
Oh yeah, and she's a total hottie.
