I never had a reason to think about it before, but as soon as a reminder arrived I realized I do rather have an affinity towards lions.  They're rather lovely and majestic seeming to me... Is this strange?

Without a doubt, it all relates back to something I remember in my childhood.  We had found an injured lion cub.  I ever so much wanted to keep

They have scales, and are a magical creature worthy of respect.

I will admit the dragon is too dangerous, but it's not good to make fun of the desires of others.

Hanna was a friend. I helped her recover, and I didn't have to keep secrets from her.

I wasn't allowed to keep her. I just got to care for her for a little while.
