Teen Wolf Feels, and Irl Things.
I have a lot of Teen Wolf feels. I know it's a terrible b-grade show, and I shouldn't be emotionally invested in it, but I am.
Firstly, I just want it noted that I fully admit its a bad, cheesy show. Half the actors (who all look like - and probably are - models) are hopelessly terrible, the script is fairly cringe-worthy a lot of the time, the effects are horrible anyway, point is, there's a lot wrong with it and it definitely has its faults.
However, it's strangely addictive and I somehow ended up having A Lot of Feels about certain characters.
Can I just take a moment or two to talk about my favourite. Stiles. Sweet, sweet Stiles.
So this adorable summer dandelion has the kindest heart, and he is such a sweetheart. He does so much for everyone, and he especially does so much for Scott (pro tip: Scott is a total douchebag). In any dangerous situation, Stiles tries to protect Scott. We see on multiple occasions, Stiles instinctively tries to protect him. Example; will just put his arm in front of Scott to protect him, like an instant reaction. He doesn't even think about himself. He is just a human, and Scott is able to tear flesh from bone but still, Stiles is the one trying to protect him. Stiles almost gets killed by Scott, and he doesn't fear him (that much) because he still knows, at heart, it's Scott in there somewhere. He doesn't care Scott is a werewolf, because he's still his friend.
Ugh, and Scott just expects Stiles to do all these things for him - like his own personal servant/therapist. As if he owes it to him, or something. No. You don't even deserve to have Stiles as your friend, Scott, you are a turniphead.
Stiles puts up with so much crap from everyone, even Scott. Stiles is frequently ignored, and even Scott doesn't treat him that well either. Which is ridiculous considering all Stiles puts up with from him, like endless hours of him rambling about Allison or whatever. But when Stiles wants to talk, everyone just blows him off or interrupts or just acts like its not important.
Stiles is just so damn nice, like he is so selfless. Scott is always, always wrapped up in his own world and his only concerns or interests are for himself or Allison. Stiles still cares. Like, I'm sorry but if I were in Stiles place, I would kicked Scott in the face a long time ago because he's a self-obsessed twat.
And can we talk about the fact no-one ever cares about Stiles or how he's feeling? It's always Scott or pretty much any other character. How do none of these people (by this I mean the characters) see Stiles for the amazingly sweet boy he is? Also he's the funniest and most charming one in the show.
I don't know how else I can say this, but I just think Stiles is the cutest damn thing and I love him okay.
(Can we also give MTV a round of applause on the character of Danny? An I the only one really pleased with him? He's a gay character, who doesn't act all 'ohay gurrrrl check yo weave, walk walk fashion baby, oooh glitter glitter lady gaga ooooh,'. Danny is just a character who happens to be gay, and his whole character doesn't revolve around an exaggerated charicture of his sexuality. Because, newsflash media, most gay men don't act all 'omg hay gurl haaay'. Idk, I just like seeing a gay character on a teen drama that isn't some flamboyant camp comic relief character. Don't get me wrong, I love the flamboyant glitter-covered characters as much as the next guy, but I think it's nice to see a character, especially on a teen drama, who doesn't act like some ridiculously over-done OTT gay man. I seriously didn't expect that from MTV. (I just read this part back again, and I don't think it makes any sense, or if it does, it doesn't get across the point I wanted to make. Point is, I love Danny okay. Kudos to MTV for everything about this character, thnx).
Also I have so many Jackson feels because the poor kid is trying so hard to please everyone, and everyone expects him to be this Golden Boy glory child, and no-one takes into consideration how he feels.
Also, I ship Stiles x Derek so hard. I just, nope, can't deal with it. They're so perfect for eachother. The second they shared screen-time I just wanted to fly into the sun because I can't deal with how hard I ship it, and the more episodes I watch, the harder I ship it. I will pay someone actual money to make this canon, thnx. *makes pterodactyl noises*
(Of course I start this out as srsbsns!character discussion, then turn it into shipping. I'm not even sorry.
Also, my copy of Pala's "Antagonist" arrived in the mail and i'm looking forward to reading it so much. The illustrations are so beautiful :3
Dressed my flatmates up in Loli the other day for no reason. Obviously because I'm a miniature human being that is like 4"9 none of my blouses fit them, but they just looked so cute, hah.
(Of course Alice has to flip the bird while wearing a pink dress covered in ponies, hah)
And it wouldn't be a complete post without a gpoy, would it?
