I have started a facebook group
"British Columbia wants a family day"
I have organized a Facebook group titled "British Columbia wants a family day". Please take a moment to join the group, to help organize and execute the first BC Family Day on February 15th, 2010 (which would coincide with the 2010 Olympics, what a wonderful opportunity for families to take the day off work, organize Olympic activities in their local communities and support the Province by cutting work traffic in Vancouver.This could be an incredible legacy to our Province.) We have an election in May and I believe with the right persistence and pressure we could also enjoy a family day which takes place in February in most other provinces.
By organizing together, we can get the attention of the province and the politicians. Facebook has been hugely successful in grassroots endeavours.
