Just for the sake of remembering:
new years survey (a little late but you know)
1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Got into college, made vegetarian lasagne, got my license, won Grand Nats, got my own cat, took summer school (AP Micro Econ-- dont do it, kids!), went to NY, bought a Tiffany necklace, a Stella McCartney shirt, and a fake Hermes Birkin bag ;D (off a street corner, I might add.), watched a movie in German without subtitles and understood most of it, saw Coldplay in concert yaaay, undefeated show choir season, Chicago with Becky and Meg, got my Green Card!!
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i didnt keep my resolution from last year. It lasted until about July though- not too shabby! I made one for this year, but I broke it this morning. oops.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
nope
4. Did anyone close to you die?
my Uncle, Dave
5. What countries did you visit?
nowhere. BAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
a boyfriend I actually get along with, a scholarship to college (fingers crossed, kids,) the body I had sophomore year (20lbs lighter. that wont happen.), tickets to the Oasis Concert (Ive been bitter about that one since 2002), and a nice bubbly bath that lasts longer than 30 mins.
7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory?
April 6-7 (chicago!), May 7(birthday picnic!), May 10 (Tazo died), July 7(london bombings), Aug 12(coldplay concert), Nov 12 (Won Nats), Dec 15-18 (New York and Philly)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
winning grand nats
9. What was your biggest failure?
not reaching my goals.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
nothing too bad, I dont think
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My kitty, Zoe. she and Jasper never fail to brighten my day.

plenty of people
13. Whose behavior made you mad and ill willed?
haha, everyone. I am a rather unforgiving person

clothes, I hate to admit it.

Chicago, New York, Coldplay, getting my license, Grand Nats

cleaning, shutting up

judging, sleeping, dwelling.

was spent with becky and meg, the way we do

with life, yes.

yes.

If Andy Warhol Had a Girlfriend. Its just a happy, feel-good, easy read.

Carina Round, Travis, Snow Patrol
28. What did you want and got?
not a lot. I don't tend to want things that much, I just end up getting them for some stupid reason, and then loving them

a few things
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
too many. um, Brokeback Mountain was good, the Interpreter, Downfall
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
16, i didnt do much on my birthday. the band hall sang happy birthday, which was nice. I had a picnic a few days after, which was really fun, but I had SATs that morning, and spent the night before making food.
32. What's one thing that would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
not too many things. a trip to england would have made me whole, which it never fails to do.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
hahha, just me. Internship made it a bit dressier, but most of the year was spent trying to cover the 20 pounds i gained in 2004.
34. What kept you sane?
my cats, my friends, my art, my garden
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
oo, Jake Gyllenhaal as far as 'hot' goes, and everyone who performed at Live 8 as far as doing things other than just being cute goes.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
the London Bombings pissed me off immensely, and hurt me more than ever, for reasons I will never tell.
