So, I told Greg that I can't consider a long term commitment with someone who won't factor me into his post-zombie survival plan.
Have I told this story before? I feel like I might be starting to repeat myself. I know that I'm starting to repeat myself with boys. THERE'S ONLY SO MUCH CHARMING I CAN BE.
So, he said he'd work on it.
Second City classes are getting hard. I'm increasingly having to face the idea that I'm just not really very funny or creative. I mean, I always take something into class, and it always gets some laughs; but it's HARD. I'm so easily distracted.
And satire is HARD.
This weekend, for Bree and Pete's birthdays, we are going to MEDIEVAL TIMES! This has been a lifelong dream of mine, to watch jousting and eat AS THEY DID IN MEDIEVAL TIMES, ever since I saw an episode of Wild and Crazy Kids that was filmed at the one in California. I can't wait. Also, I have a pretty bitching present for Bree, so I can't wait for it to be her birthday so I can give it to her already. Very exciting.
Also this weekend, I have a mini-vacation. A mini-vacation that I have no idea what I'm going to do with. (see, the guy that does the schedule was stressed out over new hires, and gave me the wrong weekend off. No St. Louis with Nick and Bree.) It'll be nice that I can go out to the birthday parties without stressing out about work the next morning. Saturday morning, I might go to a casting call for extras for the Ron Howard project that's filming this summer. Or go to farmers markets. OR I'LL JUST SLEEP IN. Something awesome.
Other thoughts. Hmmm. I saw Iron Man 2. That was fun times. I liked it a lot. Not as much as Spiderman 2, but more than Spiderman or Hulk. I totally have the hots for Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johanson. Super sexy chemistry!
A raccoon tried to eat my bicycle seat! I put a rack and basket on the back of my bike. I'm still going to the gym semi-regularly. Instead of talking about my feelings for Greg, I just bake a lot of cookies and hope that he knows I care an awful lot about him. Oh! We had a bike-riding date, and we went thrifting and to Steak'n'Shake for lunch. And I maintain that I'm not a hipster; I just am very hip, naturally.
