I want to go out dancing. I wonder if I can talk someone into doing that with me tonight. BUT I do have to work in the morning, so maybe no.
Over here, this picture, that's my bike. She's a Peugeot track bike, and I call her Peggy Sue. She's very fast, on the Lake Shore Trail we have been clocked at 20mph. We took part in our first Critical Mass this weekend, and that was ... rather interesting. AND THEN on the way home I got a flat tire; which seemed to me to be very anticlimactic. But the upshot is that I finally learned how to patch a tube and it only took me three tries (and two ruined patches) to get it right.
Overall for the whole of last week, I biked over 125 miles. My only regret about riding so much is that I don't get to read on the subway like I used to be able to do.
