The end of one chapter...
Lol, don't ask about the title. It's a school joke. So yeah, today was our last day of clinical. I'm so glad it's over but at the same time I'm sad. I really got to know 9 other of my classmates who I probably wouldn't have gotten to know otherwise. We had a lot of fun. It certainly blew ass when I had to drive all the way to Sinai-Grace at 6am this morning in fucking 6 inches of snow, but whatever. It took me 55 minutes to get there, normally it takes about 25. Our instructor didn't even get there until 7:30 so we had a half hour to just sit and talk and goof off. I will miss those girls. I mean, it's not like I'm not going to see them ever again, we have another 2 and 1/2 years left, but in class and who knows how many of us registered for the same sections, and yeah, I'm kinda sad. Thank god I am done with this semester on Wednesday. I haven't even started really studying for my finals but honestly, they won't be that bad. I am currently working on my last careplan which is due Monday. I just needed a break from it.
I think I am getting sick. My throat is scratchy and sore. I've been sneezing too. Dammit. I am going to Vegas in a week I cannot get sick. Speaking of Vegas I can't wait. I'm nervous about the flight but besides that I am so pumped. We're staying at The Wynn which is the world's most expensive hotel. Our room (which is just a standard room mind you) is 700 square feet, and we have a plasma screen tv in the bathroom. Can't wait. I will have lots of pics to put up don't worry. And NO Howie and I are NOT getting married while in Vegas. I swear if one more person asks me that I am going to choke them. I'm getting my hair done Monday and I'm totally blah as to what to do with it. I have about 3 different blondes in it, which looks cool but I need yet another change. I was thinking about dying it all blonde and then putting a few dark dark lowlites underneath-kinda similar to what Christina Aguilera had but not that white of a blonde and I'd never put black in my hair. Too hard to get out.
I start my nurse tech job on Thursday, 7am-7pm. Long day yes, but I'll be making $15.60 an hour so it's certainly worth it to me. I am working a lot after Vegas too so I can make some serious money. When school starts back up I'll be working Thursdays and every other weekend. Not bad at all. But it's still work....
