You're wondering where I am and what I've been doing. Or what I'm going to do. I knew it!
So my flight home was interesting. I got upgradeded to buisness class. Then the 6hr flight turned into 10hrs when a guy behind me had a heart attack. So we had an emergency landing in Iceland and got him to medical care. No, I don't know what became of him.
I spent some time with Mom resting when I got back. I got a Betsy Johnson Purse (cherries and leopard print).
Oh, I totally didn't mention the Roberto Cavalli (gold and leopard print) heels I bought at Selfridge's after finals.
Oh... I PASSED MY FINALS. Yep, I'm officially entering my third year of vet school. ;)
I went with a bunch of people to see Pirates of the Carribbean 2 (pretty fun) and then we chilled at Adam's/ Karl's place. Then Sat night some of us went to see a rocky show at the Colonial Theater. Fun fun fun!
Well, I started my pig placement today at UPenn. It's pretty damn good other than that pigs are mean and smelly. I mean, the people are nice and laid back, I may get a new research project out of it, and the drive isn't as bad as I would have thought. And it's actually pretty cool (as in the temperature) because pigs need their air changed like a lot and they sweat a ton so they need to be kept cool (cept the babies and the babies mommas). Oh, and piglets, like brand new ones, SOOOOO cute!
So I'm doing pigs for two weeks and they're not making me work weekends (at least they don't think so). That means I can go with Mom and Grams to AC for the weekend.
Oh, and barring any unforseen events, I will be going to Chicago RHPS Con end of the month. I got cast as Columbia for Hot Patootie (group Columbia and Eddie performance) and PJ Columbia, and Yvette for half of Clue. I'm excited.
Um, I think that's it for now. More when I can. And I will call people when I can. My hours kind of suck. hehe
