A little bit of a change in the layout..
Oh my god, boring Wednesday. Someone save me...please.
Found out a little more about my cousins car accident. The paper didn't say he was drinking but a woman that works with my mom has a son taht was friends with him and said he was. Him and his girlfriend were driving home at about 3:30am. The paper said they went off the road and hit the guard rail and their car flipped over into a ravine and threw them out.
A woman said she heard the wreck while she was in bed but didn't get up to look out the window because the paper said she was old and ill. It also said she didn't bother to call the police.
At about 9:30am a man was out mowing him lawn when he looked out at the ravine and saw a car and what looked like a body inside and one underneath the car...finally the cops were called. The wrecked happened at 3:30am, they weren't helped until 9:30am. The girl was still alive and now in the hospital waiting to have surgery. Stephen was gone when they found him...not sure when he passed though, whether it happened on impact at 3:30am or between those hours before the cops got there. God, hopefully on impact.
It's so scary how things like that happen, just a split second. No time to think and rationalize. No time to gather your thoughts and do things differently because they've already been done. What's worst is he was 18 years old. He hasn't even had the chance to live yet. It sad.
If anyone in this area gets the Journal News it was on the front page, at the bottom of Tuesdays (Nov, 9th) paper.
