Maria,
you don't even know how I miss you. My mom and I always talk about your family. We feel lost without you in our near to daily lives.
We had the lock-in. And the wonderful day after. hehe. That was one of the best times I had this summer!
I really really want to see you. Hopefully this fall I'll get to see you more.
(I want to talk to your mommy about sewing lessons!!!)

And um I need your help planning my 18th birthday party.
I'm going to call you soon and get your opinions on things

Rayna!
You are going to have an AWESOME time this fall!!

Teaching, cleaning, cooking, shopping...ya, it's a lot of work (I feel like I work WAY more after I get home from my paying job and have to start my "take-care-of-the-house-and-my-husband" job) but God will give you SO much grace!!! I LOVE working in the home...there's so much to do and learn...currently I'm knitting, hoping to learn napkin folding and caligraphy, cooking such fun stuff...like orange chicken!!! It's one of the most amazing things I've ever cooked...if your family likes chineese-tasting food, they will LOVE this...if you want the recipie, email me at: vanessa@echocuba.org and I'll give it to you! you make some rice and some peas, and WHALA! you've got a meal that is TO DIE FOR.

well, I just want you to know how proud I am of you, and that I think you are really going to be a wonderful "stay at home student"

enjoy it!

I ,too, am proud of you! I'm excited for you in this new season of your life. I know you will do a great job in serving your family, and your church. I can't wait to hear about all the funyn stories, the hard times and the times that grew you in times to come!

One of my family's favorite meals is cornflake chicken! You can e-mail me or my mom for a recipe if you want. We usually have corn or greenbeans, and mashed cheesy cauliflour (which is pretty much a substitute for mashed potatoes, which you could also use) and pretty much any other side you want.

I love you!

so i got an email from dr. doolin (my a&p teacher) and these are his exact words:
"There are NO LABS this week, so take the time to say good-by to your friends and family for a semester"
it made me laugh, since this whole time you've been saying how you'll never see us and what not. but that's not true. we'll still see you.
