(no subject)
I was sitting here watching Platinum Weddings when the door bell rang. So I answered it. It was the mail man. Actually the mail man who brings the mail to work alot of days too. He's usually whistling and he likes to sing songs. He's old and has an accent. Well, today he came to the front door and said.
"Are you Rayna Santos?"
I responded by saying "Yes I am"
And then he told me he was confused because he knew the Urquhart's lived in this house but didn't know that a Santos did.
I didn't explain but just said "yup that's me"
and he said "where are you from?"
and I said "Um...I'm from here"
and he said "Santos Santos where are you from?"
and I said "Umm my grandfather was from Brazil"
and then he started talking to me in Portuguese. And I probably had a very confused look on my face. And he raised his hands in the air
and said "what you no speak no Portuguese???!!!!"
And I said "oh noo sorry..."
and he handed me my mail and told me to have a good day.
It was very strange.
