(no subject)
My mom was suppose to come with me and the kids to the zoo today, but she just called and cancelled. She is always doing this kind of stuff! And then she wonders why we don't hang out more. So, now, since I already told the kids we were going, I'm going to go with them by myself. I just hope we don't have a repeat of last time. Last time, you ask? What could have possible happened? Well, while I was in the bathroom with Sullivan, Saul sprinted out of the bathroom and took off. By the time I could pull thngs together and run after him, it took me nearly 10 panic-stricken minutes to find him. Now I finally understand leashes for children.
So big plan #1 for the weekend (aka, the zoo) may or may not be the fun time I was thinking it would be. However, I actually had multiple plans this weekend that did not involve grocery shopping or cleaning (I sound so exciting, dont' I?) My second big plan was for tonight where I was actually going to see a couple of friends. Granted, those plans only involved hanging out at my house after the kids were asleep, but they were still plans. Unfortunately, I had an email this morning from one of the friends saying maybe we should do it another night. Excuse me while I throw a pity party for myself.
