This has not been a good weekend. First I've barely slept the last two nights. Saul started getting sick (fever, bad cough) Friday night. This morning his fever was mild and he was acting normal so I decided it was safe to go grocery shopping. He was running towards the door. No sooner had I said "Saul, don't run...you might fall" than he tripped and hit the corner of our metal coffee table. He was acting kind of dazed and he had a gigantic bump and bruise on his head. Ben thought we'd better take him to the emergency dept which freaked me out because he is generally much less concerned with bumps than I am. On the car ride there, Saul started acting more normal and was babbling away to me. However, shortly before we got the emergency dept, Saul started throwing up which made me all freaked out again. Luckily he seems to be okay. THey made us stay to make sure he could drink some juice and keep it down. Now I'm suppose to keep an eye on him tonight and tomorrow to watch for any warning signs. If he starts throwing up again, I'm suppose to bring him back to the emergency dept. I know chances are he's fine, but I'm so paranoid. I have a billion things to do at work tomorrow but I think it may be best if I stay at home at least for half the day so I can keep an eye on him. I just don't think daycare will be able to watch him that closely. How can they when they're watching multiple kids?
