The Hunt for the Black Pearl, Part 1 (Blood Unbound)
Some years, it seems like everything takes longer than it should. But, finally, I have posted part one of "The Hunt for the Black Pearl" onto fanfiction.net. In this chapter of Blood Unbound, the hunt for the black pearl starts. Inuyasha is still human, and while he can find the approximate location where he was attacked by a pair of tiny youkai that blinded him and presumably pulled the pearl out of his eye (Tsubaki's Revenge), it's up the kitsune, Akeneka, to sniff it out. Will the kitsune manage to do so? Is the pearl still there to be found? Some of the answers may be found in part one, but some may have to wait another few days...
