"Destiny" brought (almost) up to date
With a new chapter written for the Destiny series, it was time to get the fanfaiction.net series updated, so readers of the new chapter could readily access the rest of the story, if so desired. So, no less than six chapters (11-16) have been posted in the last hour or so. Those stories basically complete the first 'arc' of Destiny, where Kohaku must deal with Kirara's life-threatening injuries. Chapter 17 was not posted, since voting won't be finished until tomorrow.
Tonight's chapter jumps to Kirara's point of view, as she contemplates the different roles she plays in her relationship with Kohaku. It was a bit of a stretch to meet the prompt, "Suckle" -- if one can't reference a baby feeding, how does one use the word? ;)
This has been a fairly fruitful evening, as I actually wrote two pieces (on the 50 minute bus commute), before starting to upload the stories to ff.net. The other is an addition to These Old Bones, my old!Inuyasha in modern Tokyo serial...
