That comment was possibly the sweetest thing ever.

My overloaded plate is just...how things go. With age comes responsibility, and I'm just getting hit a little hard with it all right now...and if it's anyone's fault, it's mine. I'm just trying to take on too much. It's typical for a high school senior 18-year-old. I'm right at that point of "adulthood" (as far as that can be applied) and I'm noticing the responsibilities of adult life and I'm dipping my toes into the pool. It may seem like a lot...but like I said, it's typical.

There's nothing I like more than spending time with you Kelsey. You bring joy and brightness to my heart, and I know that when I'm spending time with you, there's nothing better I could have spent it on. Money...I don't care about money. I don't feel like you should have to pay for anything we do, nor do I think your parents should have to. I just believe that money is something a girl shouldn't have to worry about when with her boyfriend, and I try to keep it that way. The last thing you are to me is a nuisance.

As much as I don't want to believe it...the cold hard truth is that for the majority, I'm not longer a kid. Even though I don't believe true "adult age" is 21, 18 is widely accepted as adulthood...and whether I like it or not...I'm not a kid anymore.

True, this makes things exponentially harder for me, but I just have to take things day by day and have faith that everything will turn out alright in the end. After winter break school isn't going to be as hard for me, and I've just gotta do what I gotta do.

You saying that you care about me is what means the most to me right now, and it's a main thing that keeps me going. You know how much I care about you, and there's nothing in the world that can change that.

That is:

"I'm no longer a kid" and "Even though I don't believe true "adult age" is until 21..."
