If I don't find a job by the end of April I have a feeling that I might have to move home for awhile until I get an offer. I'll of course sublet out my room and all the furnishings till then. So if anyone wants to live in NYC (East Village) for $1100 let me know. For right now it could be for a one-to-two month term. Possibility of subletting longer.
This offer might also exist in late fall. If I'm still in NYC I'd like to explore other neighborhoods.
About the place. It's a decent size for a conversion apartment. More about that. It's a two bedroom converted into a three. I have the conversion room, but it's in Stuytown where the apartments are already enormous. Approximately 9x11 (possibly 10x12)....I've never measured. Fabulous huge window in your bedroom facing the basketball court with AC unit, lockable door. It use to be the old living room, but there is still space for lounging in the (now smaller sized living room) lounge or eating dinner with friends in the cozy dining room. Free utilities including heat, gas, electric, cable, and water.
There's a kitty named Kitty that roams around from time to time in the living room, but she's precious and would love it you pet her from time to time.
Roommates are all gay and have their own life. By roommates I mean two gay couples. One lesbian couple, and one gay couple. I don't hang out much with them, but they're always out and about doing this, eating that, bla..bla..bla...feel free to tell what's up and invite them to your outgoings.
