facebook rant & ann arbor protest
Facebook is getting offers from Yahoo; apparently they rejected the first offer of 1.4 billion, and are waiting for an offer of 2 million. I'm actually sort of disappointed that they're even thinking of selling, because then some big corporation can take it over, and turn it into next myspace. Oh, and EFFECTIVE TODAY, they're opening it up to the public.
Apparently some Lansing man protested hatred towards homosexuals in the diag yesterday. He also made remarks about the Pope not going to Heaven. I really wish I would have been on campus to see this protest. It drew a fierce crowd according to The Daily. CRAZY ARTICLE!
And the crazy protestor/preacher is COMING BACK TODAY! Like one day wasn't enough. He'll be back in the diag from 11am-4pm.
I think I'm going to take an early lunch and go somewhere with Michelle. I'm starving. Luckily my boss brought in bagels, so that'll keep me tied over until then.
Ryan sent me a crazy text message about 15 minutes ago. He's just now getting home. No clue what he's up to; he didn't answer the phone when I tried calling him.
I know too many guys who are balding. Matthew, Detroit Joe, Ryan, Craig, Ben. I'm thankful I still have a full set of hair.
