I don’t know if it’s because I knew her ‘secret’ or just because after having dated her I just knew her bit I knew when she said she was ‘seeing the girls’ I knew she was lying.
I was the last to leave and before I did asked if she was okay, and as I walked to my bus stop I knew she wasn’t but I got on it anyway. I was almost home when I realised I couldn’t leave her alone. I arrived after eleven and I could tell she had been crying

I put my arms around her and realised there was no other place I would of rather been.
