As of noon
Today is positively horrid, and i'll tell you why. don't laugh.
So i wake up at 7:30, with scarcely enough time to get ready for class. i run out the door wearing my nice new jeans, my entire outfit was very nice. Mind you it is pouring rain. I arrived at my humble Baldwin-Wallace with just enough time to get to class. I step out of my car, approach the sidewalk. I start to walk a bit uneasily. it's slippery. Then, as a grand finale of my icecapade on water, i fall. on my butt. so very dirty. into a puddle. To make matters worse, my sandal breaks and straight up falls off my foot.
Let's recap:
I am sitting in a puddle with one shoe and a cup of coffee in my hand, holding an umbrella over my head as if it even matters anymore.
So, since i try to be cool, i casually got up, slowly walked back to my car (which was only a mere 10 feet away), get back in and start back to home. But not before bursting into tears at the first red light i approached.
So now i am happily at home in my pajamas eating tomato soup and indulging in silly live journal drama.
Tonight, on the other hand, will probably be a bit better. For i am going out. And drinking wine. I am also going out tomorrow, and if anyone has ideas of a fun bar to hit up, please enlighten me.
Ps. i love chilly days like this...fall is coming and bringing Halloween and crispy leaves!!!
