Why is Lauren coming this weekend :( not that I’m not excited to have everyone coming down this weekend to hang out but Brand New is in town tomorrow and Thursday and I was just called to see if I want to go…and Starting Line is Sunday…poo. Two of my favorite bands at Soma with in a few days of each other and if you ask me the last time I went to a concert it was…well it was Saturday seeing Hanson but I mean that’s a completely different kind of concert…nevermind. I’m sure I’ll come off sounding dumb.
Brand New they are pretty much amazing and I love them a lot, I’ve never seen them live cause they always sell out, I really want to go Thursday, I mean really. They’re playing with Thrice who I’ve seen, and got smashed into the railing for but was so worth it because I touched Dustin who’s very pretty. Thrice puts on a good show so seeing them would be fantasmic but really I would be there for Brand New, I mean seriously, Mix Tape was Shawn and my first song, I mean real song. Not that I am super proud of the lyrics, but it was the first song that meant anything to us. It started out as a joke anyways I mean our relationship wasn’t really like that. I don’t hate the Smiths, or Brand New, and people have seen me not made up so he owes some people 20 bucks! [right see_are_uh?] Yeah he’s the one that called asking if I wanted a ticket but um things are SO behind us right now, or at least they would be for a free ticket :)
I’ve seen Starting Line three times so I am not super bummed about missing them but still it’d be fun, its weird though because they are opening for Paramore with The Almost which makes me wonder if it’s the small stage? I really hate Paramore and The Almost, who sadly I’ve seen open twice. Really Starting Line opening? For Paramore?
Guh…not this weekend please? Maybe I’ll go see Senses Fail with New Found Glory at the HOB on the 23rd? Although I’ve seen NFG um like four times now? Every time as openers [well once on Warped], do they do their own tours? And I’m not a huge Senses Fail fan but it’d be a show at least, and I kind of like the HOB now. I wish I had gone to the one in Anaheim back when Chester [the molester] got all those free tickets and would invite me.
Although I think I am going to take my mom to see The Rat Pack for her birthday, then take the girls to see HSM the musical plus I am seeing Jersey Boys this weekend and hopefully Cry Baby a few times! Which started tonight by the way…if I can somehow get a ticket for 30 bucks or borrow money from someone till Friday I think we might go Thursday. That would be rad. Yes rad. Yes Hanke we will stalk enjoy your performance.
What am I saying? I need to save for NYC in January…and clothes and boots for NYC in January. But I am going to get shoes on Friday cause they have the ones I want at Nordstroms. Not that they are good for NYC at all...but they are for a good cause!
