Just a typical life...on the western shore
I got sunburned and it hurts. I am so aggravated because I put on sun block.
Yesterday was fun at the water park but then again it always is with my family. Eric [favorite cousin] and I were talking about the school year and how the six middle grandchildren plus him were all going to be in high school, at the same high school and I told him he was just apart of the cousins, so I guess the 7 middle kids are going to be in high school. I am so happy now that I think about it to be well out of high school.
Ashley’s plane was supposed to leave at 11:30 last night so Sarah and I took her to the airport and before we got five minutes away she called me back to tell me that her flight was cancelled but she was working on getting something else. That took about 45 minutes, Sarah and I drove around looking for somewhere to get ice cream and right as we got close to Rite Aid Ashley called back to say she was all ready. We got home after midnight and woke up this morning at five to get her to the airport this morning and in time for me to get to work. It was such a complete waste last night, plus I got home late and had to wake up early this morning so I’m not exactly a happy camper. But luckily for Ashley she got a flight out today, food, a hundred dollar flight voucher and possibly on stand by this morning to get an earlier flight then eleven am. I’m kind of sad since I was supposed to go on that trip but figured I shouldn’t go since everyone was going to be over 21 and they would want to go out. But I should have gone, I’ve always wanted to go to St. Louis, [and not just the airport, cause I’ve done that]. I’ve never had the desire to go to Cincinnati but I mean it would have been fun to go the baseball games which was the whole point of the trip anyways. I’ve never wanted to go to Kentucky but it could just be another state I could have checked off my list and I would have been with Auntie Kelly, Ashley and Michelle which is ALWAYS a good time. Oh well. I didn’t go, but next year we are for sure doing Chicago and Milwaukee so that’s exciting.
I just checked the RENT site front, and its different, I don’t know how long its been since I’ve been there but I checked tour dates and cities and so far no California dates but everyone *is* talking about LA in March [?] after Wicked leaves the Pantages. I don’t know if I would do the Pantages though, I mean I’ve stories about rushing there and I’m just not so sure about that. We’ll see. Oh there was a picture of the last tour cast and it was exciting to see it, Joe, Harley, Jenna, Dec, Jesse, Dustin and of course everyone else. That was exciting. It’s exciting to think about Dec and Harley on Broadway soon, I hope if Muffin does go to Broadway she won’t go till after the New Year. I don’t want to see her when I DO go to NYC WITH Kayla. [: I decided to go look around the site while I was there and I was looking at the cast, I looked at the tour and its old, and by old I mean strange, Mitch was still on there, that was weird. He left about the same time was Jesse and Jesse wasn't on there anymore, Jahmal wasn't even on there which was weird because he joined late but not that late, and there was no picture of Jared Stein, thats just dumb. Then I started looking at the Broadway cast, did Tyler Post used to have dark hair? I could have sworn when I saw him he had dark hair…I don’t know. It’s so weird seeing Anthony and Adam listed under cast, its just weird. As I was scrolling through the cast though I kind of fangirled over Merle Dandridge, cause I love her and then over Jay Wilkison and his hotness. Okay I need to stop drooling at work, people are going to start suspecting I am NOT working right now. Oh and I had forgotten Mayumi was back, which made me think of Cary Shields which really made me laugh. *giggles* Cary Shields.
