An Evening w/o Python
Before flying out to Vancouver, I took Shelby to a matinee @ the Ricardo Montalban theatre in Hollywood of An Evening Without Python, a cute hourlong sketch compilation show (predominantly along the lines of Live @ The Hollywood Bowl) performed by Jane Leeves, Alan Tudyk, Jeff B. Davis, Rick Holmes, & Jim Piddick. It was great seeing this ode to Python. Before the show started, Eric Idle had rushed out off the theatre right past me. He has shrunk as he's gotten older and is my height now. We had the option of staying afterward and chatting w/ the actors, but what were we gonna do? Tell Alan how awesome he is in the Whedon world and tell Jane Leeves how I'd been to her former beach house in Malibu? i was pretty stressed over the pack 'n go, so we headed home, and then Shelby shuttled me to LAX.
