the boiling crab for thu's bday lunch was a pretty wild experience, but i don't think i wanna work that hard again any time soon for my food. in a lethargic haze, we rolled back home for soccer, soccer, and more soccer on the telly. shelby drunk dialed the chivas promo, and now we're going to the superliga and galaxy games for $15 each behind the goal opposite gen admin. oh, and we get vouchers for free chivas hats too. i failed miserably this week in fantasy though.
sunday we slept in, but then we had a job to do. saturday nite we had many many visitors, and they were swarming our wine and our breathe incessantly. they latched onto my lampshades and waited. they were the fungus gnats, and they were taking over my window herbs. we went to lowe's and bought sand, another terra cotta pot, and decided since we have extra seeds and the herbs grew like wildfire anyway, we'd salvage the slow growing peppers and ditch the rest. was a nice idea to use the margarita glasses while it lasted. we ate chevy's, i had my first blizzard in a long time from dq, and then we saw terminator 4 which was not as bad as expected. they had a technical glitch at the beginning - the theatre was loaded for night at the museum instead of t4, so we were seeing trailers for cloudy w/ a chance of meatballs and ice age 3. the delay didn't hurt us too much at least.
today our galaxy rep sold me $10 gen admin tix for saturday's game against real salt lake. free soccer ball and alumni nite, so we'll see a bunch of my oldies taking the field again. dan said he could sell me the side seats for $20, but i am not fond of that view. i like the vertical, not the horizontal.
regardless, i am ready for bed now, and i think for once in a long time, i just may take myself up on that. especially since i have a phone date w/ the buffster tomorrow nite.
