heroes blew my brain out of my skull last nite. whoa. 5 weeks, people! 5 weeks!
am babysitting a guy shadowing jack today, so in and out on the puter. he's a cutie - elizabeth asked if he was my bf. too young for me, but right up her alley, so i told her to go for it - i'll stick with my lovely geek.
14 bottles of wine were consumed. we still have some grape juice - we thought coleman had killed it, but alas and alack, it is still in the fridge. only got thru 2 "libraries" and opened the last chumeia pinot noir that was from damon's collection. took the rest of the unpopular edna valley merlot and maggie's magic sparkling to shelby's. could only tolerate one glass of the bubbly sunday night. i think i consumed at least half of the alicante bouschet bottle b/c it wasn't much of a hit either. i also downed a fourth of the cujo which was a hit. the loco was straight down the middle - kar3n & will loved it, steph and adrienne yucked it. i think i downed a 4th of that bottle too. will left his glass like he knew he would and so did dan b. feel bad for never getting to the brownies becky brought or the baguette and cheese that kar3n handed over. in fact, i've got two different gouda wheels in my fridge - maybe i should have a cheese party next!
shelby wants kar3n to scan her tasting notes b/c she had such cute drawings & comments on them. he has will's in his possession - which are damn funny - and wants to scan and post them too. i think steph was the only other one to leave hers behind, and she had some great comments too. we are glad everybody took theirs, happy we could share with all who came, and hope they all become wine whores now like we are:D
