tip #1 - never go to eat on sunset and gower before or after happy hour. for the price of a half a case of chuck, i enjoyed a glass of syrah. the shrimp frittattas were exceptionally tasty at $1.50 per piece, especially as they continued to remind me throughout the nite.
tip #2 - don't go to amagi's without lisa. she has been going there every week for 9 years, so the joint knows her, including the infamous karaoke ninja who wanted to know who her friend was.
lisa dragged larissa, brian, and me over to gower gulch after we tired of eat for some karaoke magic last nite. tommy the old 1st ad joined us, but when brian started getting overly rowdy in his drunken stupor, larissa and tommy took him home, successfully bailing on their turns at the mics. lisa and i took the stage with a rousing rendition of the floor show from rocky horror. i took columbia and brad while she took rocky and janet. it was over too soon, but we hung out for a while longer b/c the regs wanted us to not leave before hearing their 4th, 5th, or 6th song of the night.
i think i convinced lisa to join me at ground control monday. it's about time i checked that place out again.
i left my contacts at shelby's yesterday. since it was a new pair, i decided to wear my glasses until i see him again rather than open another new pair.
where are my refund checks??
