Appreciation of alternative film

Hello everyone,

Is anyone aware of film groups that gather to watch alternative films, or to discuss alternative films?

I know of the CineRetro Society, and the screenings presented by the GoMA and SLQ, but I'm wondering if there are more intimate groups?

Is anyone here a fan of alternative film?

(Just in case, my definition of "alternative film" is pretty much anything not screened in popular cinemas)
