"I'm twenty-one I have my own car, my own house, and pay my own bills." Yes that is me Ms. Independent as my friends refer to me as. I am originally from Columbus Ohio, then moved to Chicago Illinois while in College. I am a Civil Engineer major; for those of you who are not sure really what that that is I shall be the one to increase you knowledge of Engineering.Civil engineering is a combination of mechanical, constructional and architectural engineering combined all in one. I chose this major in order to be guaranteed a job after graduation. Math, Science and art classes have always been my favorite subjects as well as main focus of concentration. You know what they always say "A job is better done when you actually enjoy it!" That gives you a answer to why I chose engineering.
That is enough about school, nobody wants to hear the boring stuff. I am the oldest of two, my younger brother is a senior in high school this year. Growing you we did not really have much due to the fact we had super young parents who were just kids themselves. Christmas and birthdays were small but that never invaded with the love we all had for each other. Now looking back on everything from our younger days we all are proud of the men and women we became. The last few years I have been distant from my immediate family since I lived in Chicago an they moved to Texas while I was in high school; leaving me behind. My favorite saying is "Distance makes the heart grow fonder." With that said now I am here in Texas for a year to spend with my family before time runs out and everyone goes their separate ways.
Just recently started my own family including me and my one year old puppy, Henry! I have had him since he was four weeks old, and until death do us part. Plan on holding off on the children and husband for a few more years. My goals are to lay my foundation in landing a very good job or even start up my own company, travel the world then settle down. I enjoy jet skiing, sky diving, shopping, watching sports etc. I do not get to do much of anything due to the fact I work 40 hours a week plus attend school full time. On a normal day I probably get a maximum of four hours of sleep a night. When I do get free time I enjoy every bit of freedom.
